The company was founded in 2007 and is 49% owned by Kawerak and 51% by fifteen Federally Recognized Tribes, all located in the Bering Strait Region. Tumet Industries received SBA 8(a) status in 2008. We are an Alaska contractor with experience and expertise working in remote locations which have logistical challenges.
